Thread Choice Made and Ordered!

Well, I decided on my threads.

I order 10 skiens (overkill I'm sure - but on the safe side) of Vikki's Examplar Moon-Called Sea (Melissa linked it below).

Now to figure out the fabric. I'll be going at least 36-count and frankly, I have never stitched smaller than 32, so I don't even think I have any fabric to choose from. I'll dig tomorrow to figure that out!

Great choice, Tracy! I ordered a skein of it to test, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to use some Needle Necessities Snoqualmie Falls cotton floss that I have in my stash already. I want to try and stitch this piece using fabric & fibers I already have to save some money and actually use a bit of my stash. ;-)

I asked members of the Quaker Forum on the Vicki Clayton site re the amount of thread needed and was told by someone that she used a 50 yard spool and she had plenty with some left over. I think she was stitching one thread over two. I have ordered 3 colours as I couldn't make up my mind and will decide when it gets here. Same with fabric - I ordered both 36 and 40 count in flax. Love the Moon-Called Sea - gorgeous colour or should I say color?? Forgive me I'm a Brit!
